Well done to Marcus O’ Sullivan on winning the Brian Nesbitt Perpetual Trophy at Milltown Golf Club with a score of 45 points. It was a great day and the course was in fantastic condition. The school would like to thank the many sponsors on the day.
We hope the entire school community had a restful and enjoyable summer. We look forward to welcoming back our students for the 2021/22 academic year. Induction for first years is on Thursday at 11am. 3rd years have an assembly at 1.30pm and 6th years at 2.30pm.
This Saturday sees the good folks over at Marian College in Ballsbridge throw open their doors to prospective students.
The Open Day from 10am to 1pm at the secondary school on Lansdowne Road, will highlight the institution's small class sizes, state of the art gym, high academic standards and affiliation with Trinity College, amongst other things. Marian is a Marist Brothers Catholic secondary school whose motto is "Optimum Optare" – the pursuit of excellence. The school was founded in 1954 and has a student population of 425 boys.
